Our scholarships

We want to offer people a start in life and opportunities that they then pursue with their own initiative, responsibility, enthusiasm, focus, passion and aspiration.

By awarding scholarships to talented people of all disciplines and nationalities, the Perspectiva Foundation enables sustainable education — vocational training, university studies or a doctorate — and prepares recipients for roles in government, business, culture, science and society, as well as in international organisations.

End of February and end of August each year.

Applications must be submitted in a single copy, in German, English, French or Spanish.

Duration and amount of funding

Scholarships are generally awarded for twelve months; renewed applications are permitted. The maximum funding period is based on the standard duration of the course or training programme.

Basic monthly support is €300. Depending on need, additional support up to the maximum BAföG rate may be granted. Any change in financial circumstances must be reported immediately and leads to a reassessment of the additional support.

Obligations during funding

  • A personal report every six months on training progress, including academic records, and on personal circumstances, together with a certificate of enrolment confirming continuation
  • Immediate notification if training or studies are discontinued — funding then ends
