Our Scholarships
The Perspectiva Foundation aims to provide sustainable training (vocational training, study, doctorate) by awarding scholarships to talented people of all disciplines and nationalities. It also aims to prepare students for different tasks in the state, economy, culture, science, and society as well as in international organizations.
Perspectiva Foundation supports the selected candidates with start-up aids and life opportunities, which they pursue with their own initiative, responsibility, enthusiasm, focus, passion, and longing.
Applications must be submitted by the candidate in a single copy in German, English, French, or Spanish to the Perspectiva Foundation.
Application deadlines are the end of February and the end of August each year.
Talent and excellent grades, academic or scientific achievements
- Motivation
- Proof of basic and higher education
- Abitur certificate or university entrance qualification and enrollment at a university
- Social commitment and responsibility
- Social skills and communication skills
- Explain their needs or vulnerable situation
- Motivation letter
- Needs (monthly income and expenses, assets, family background, tax returns)
- CV and passport photo
- Certified photocopy of the school graduation certificate
- Vocational training contract or enrollment certificate
- Photocopies of all grades if the training or study has already started
- Letter of recommendation, (expert) report
- Letter of reference about social engagement
The selection of the candidates is based on the following requirements:
- Intellectual skills, motivation, and passion
- Values and social responsibility
- Social competence and personality
- Commitment to intercultural communication and international understanding
Once the applicants meet the requirements, an interview will take place. The Executive Board decides independently about admission, rejection, or deferral of the applicants.
Scholarships are usually awarded for a period of 12 months, and renewed applications will be accepted. The aim is to enable sustainable training. The maximum funding period is based on the duration of the standard study period / regular training period.
The basic monthly is € 300. Additional support up to the BaFöG maximum rate (German governmental student support) may be granted, depending on the need. Changes in financial circumstances must be immediately notified, which leads to a redefinition of additional support.
The following proofs/conditions must be submitted to the Perspectiva Foundation when a scholarship is granted:
- Semi-annual personal report on training progress (including proof of achievement – grades certificates or similar) and personal circumstances, enrollment certificate, the continuation of training or studies.
- Immediate notification if the training or studies are canceled, as there will be no further support in the event of termination.
