Our goals and how we achieve them

The foundation’s primary goal is the direct (e.g., stipends) and indirect (e.g., projects) advancement of people in in need, both domestically and abroad. The main concerns of the foundation are the promotion of education and vocational training as well as international sentiment and solidarity, tolerance in all areas of culture as well as international understanding.

Perspectiva aim is to finance university studies, vocational trainings, or schooling of people who cannot afford a high-quality education corresponding to their skills. The advancement should be understood in a broader sense and should contribute to the reputation of the Federal Republic of Germany and Europe abroad.; it can be granted to German and foreign recipients worldwide by means of stipends, interest-free loans, and one-off payments. 

We want to contribute to a world in which values are the core of a meaningful life: equality, tolerance, diversity, equal opportunities, freedom of expression, a democratic community, and international understanding. We want to make a positive impact on lives through education and enable people to have more and better opportunities in a globalized world.

For us, it is essential to have direct contact with the recipients and the projects to ensure the targeted use of funds and to minimize administrative costs. The Executive Board invites the selected candidates for an interview. Every case is examined on an individual basis, and then a decision is made jointly.
